Community Gardens and Native Pollinator Plants Hands On Workshop

Join Matthew Scoggins, Community Gardening Coordinator, for a hands on community gardening demonstration, we'll discuss square foot gardening, site preparation, marketing, volunteer organizing and much more! We'll also have a local horticulture specialist and experienced community organizer discussing the native plants present on the site with a focus on maintenance and the incorporation of new natives to attract pollinators and beautify the historic neighborhood. We will also be giving away some native wildflower seeds!
