This spring Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities will have free leaf mulch available to Forsyth County homeowners on a first-come, first-served basis at Forum 52 Yard Waste Facility.
Operators will be available to help load your vehicle. Please bring a tarp to fully cover your mulch before leaving the site.
Free mulch is for homeowners in cars and pickup trucks with or without trailers. Homeowners who hire contractors to haul mulch for residential use must follow vehicle guidelines listed above. Large vehicles over 1 ton will not be allowed to receive mulch under any circumstances.
