2023 Black Walnut Festival

September 16, 2023 -
10:00am to 4:00pm
5393 Ham Horton Lane, Bethania, NC

The Black Walnut Festival, held in Bethania, celebrates that community’s connection to our region’s landscape. Prior to Bethania’s founding, our area was identified as the Black Walnut Bottom Lands. This rich fertile soil was the primary reason for selecting this site in 1759.

The festival features crafters & artisans who show and sell their creations in one of the state’s most picturesque settings.  Historic and beautiful Bethania, North Carolina sets the stage for this glorious event.  Food vendors, non-profit displays, and music will be present to round Festival-Craftsmanout this day of fun.  We are excited about the festival and look forward to your participation!

The event will be held in Bethania, 5393 Ham Horton Lane, Bethania NC, on Saturday, September 16, 2023. The Festival opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with closing time set at 4:00 p.m. Join us for a day of food, live music and family fun in the historic Town of Bethania, North Carolina.

Parking is available at Bethania Moravian Church with free shuttle service from Church to Visitor Center
