Walk the gentle rolling paths through the beautiful fallow fields of Pilot Creek. We will be looking for our incoming winter residents as well as some stray migrants. If applicable bring your own binoculars or borrow a set of ours (limited supply), footwear adequate for hiking, and water.
From Winston take 52 N to Pilot Mountain exit, turn left onto 268, make first left after gas stations (Shoals Road), after 0.5mi turn left onto Boyd Nelson Road, parking on right after creek.
