Join this group hike lead by Piedmont Land Conservancy’s past board president, Dr. Will Truslow, who also was a leader in planning and creating trails at Caraway Creek Preserve. The preserve is located at 829 Jerico Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205. Parking is available at the trailhead.
The group will hike all trails in the preserve which is approximately 3.3 miles. The hike will take between 2.5 to 3 hours. The trails feature views from bluffs in the unique landscape of the Northern Uwharries, a historic check dam (pictured), flora and fauna, and peace and quiet. This trail is considered moderate difficulty.
The outing is open to the public but is limited to 30 people.
