State University hosts a compelling talk on the cause and effect of climate change – what can we as home gardeners do to mitigate the effects of rising temperatures and the resulting increasingly severe weather events? Are American lawns sustainable? Irrigation strategies, soil-building, calculating your carbon footprint and mitigation strategies will be discussed. The speaker is Christina Larson, Extension Master GardenerSM Volunteer, past President of the Guilford Horticultural Society, and owner of Guilford Garden Center.
