At this month's Forks on Friday lunch and learn, the N.C. Cooperative Extension presents Adrienne Roethling, Director of the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden, who will present about Xeric Gardening. Xeric scree refers to an arid environment where plants thrive in hot, dry, and often hilly or mountainous habitats. Gardeners can create this environment at home. The program will discuss plants that thrive in a xeric environment. Free. Bring your lunch.
