FCAE (Forsyth County Association for Educators) will host our school board members and County Commissioners for an Education Town Hall. They will answer questions from FCAE and from community members. It is a rare opportunity to ask questions to our elected representatives!
Our County Commissioners are charged with providing funding for the building, equipping, and maintaining of our school facilities. They also provide funding to supplement teacher pay through the 1/4 cents sales tax. About 30% of the county budget goes to fund WS/FC Schools.
