Join a Pilot Mountain ranger for a short walk (easy half mile) along the Kids in Parks Track Trail to learn about the role fire plays at Pilot Mountain State Park. We will discuss the ecology of fire, our past wildfire, and see some of the fire-adapted plants that live on Pilot Mountain.
