The Environmental Management Commission (EMC) is hosting three public hearings as an opportunity for community members to weigh in on a proposal to regulate three “forever chemicals” (also known as PFAS) in groundwater. This is an important opportunity to speak out and ask the EMC to protect public health and the environment.
If you can’t attend a public hearing, you can submit a written comment to GWTriRevComments@deq.nc.gov
