Join avid bird photographer Kerry Eckhardt on a stroll through Gateway Nature Preserve as you identify and photograph birds. You’ll explore the varied terrain, including the paved Salem Creek Greenway trail, the wooded Forest Discovery trail and the Salem Creek “beach” area.
Please dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Bring your camera with a telephoto lens, if you have one, or a smartphone with zoom capabilities. Limited to 15 people.

Salem Creek runs through it, separating a forested area on the north side (with Salem Creek Greenway) from an open floodplain to the south, between the Washington Park parking lot and Broad Street.
