The Hemlock Restorative Initiative www.savehemlocksnc.org is having 3 events at Hanging Rock State Park on February 14th & 15th, 2023. This is a great opportunity for our members to learn how to identify and treat hemlocks for the invasive woolly adelgid.
Ideally, we will have enough interest to form a group to assist park staff with treatment of more hemlocks in the future . If you would like to learn how save hemlocks in Hanging Rock State Park, now is your chance. Or in your yard.
