What obligation do we have, as citizens in a democracy, to be informed about issues of public importance, such as the human impact on climate, or the causes of economic inequality? Is the media a positive or negative factor in our democracy today? What is the relationship between ideology and belief? How are our convictions and our actions influenced by our psychology, our cultural context, and our ideological biases?
Join a panel discussion of these and other important questions. Co-sponsored by the Office of Sustainability, the Center for Energy, Environment & Sustainability, the Department of Philosophy and the Thomas Jack Lynch Philosophy Fund at Wake Forest University.
Location: Wait Chapel, Wake Forest University
