Students grades K through 12 are invited to show off their art at the 2022 Piedmont Earth Day Art Contest. Create a piece of artwork about Earth Day and what it means to you then drop it off on or before April 22, 2022 to have it displayed at the Earth Day Fair. Inspire others with your creativity and passion for the environment!

The Swap Shop
You knew you were holding on to those old jeans for a reason! The Goodwill Swap Shop at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair will have used clothing, jewelry and books available. Bring an item (or 5!) and leave with something new to you. In 2018, 17 million tons of textile waste ended up in landfills (EPA). Don't just recycle your cans and paper - recycle your stuff at the Goodwill Swap Shop!

Live Demonstration: Intro To Container Gardening
Come learn something new at this Demo from N.C. Cooperative Extension. Learn the basics of container gardening. We will cover important tips, including choosing a container and selecting the right plants. A container garden is ideal for those with little garden space, little time, little gardening experience, or a little of all three!

Children’s Yoga with Ms. Christine
Ms. Christine has been teaching yoga to children for over 10 years. Kids of all ages are welcome to join for breathing, stretching, and playing. Yoga has amazing benefits for people of all ages including stress relief, emotion regulation, and body awareness! Couldn’t we all use a couple of deep breaths?

Live Music: Red Umber
Groove along with Red Umber and the nine other musical groups performing at the Earth Day Fair. Red Umber is a jazz/ funk group that is sure to entertain. They are a mixture of soul, jazz, and Neo sounds brought together with a groove orientation.
